The new duct Shunt with an interior duct for the extraction of fumes from the kitchen significantly improves the ventilation of the hoods and at the same time it complies with the Codi Tècnic d'Edificació (28703/06), which stablishes that the ventilation in the kitchens must be independent from the general ventilation.
Each kitchen must have a hood and an individual Shunt duct which they flow into the collective Shunt, always under the level of the next apartment.
Two attached ducts, one inscribed inside the other guarantee the perfect extraction of the fumes to the collective buildings.
Through the new T and Shunt crosses, the extracted fume from the kitchen exits individually through the secondary duct and this one leads to the primary or general duct.
Excepting the connection sections, the general ducts must be vertical and of a uniform section between floors as well as being sealed.
The ducts must be registrable for its cleaning and maintenance.
Indifferently manufactured in galvanized steel or stainless steel.
