FIRE DAMPERS. The fire dampers are used for the automatic closure of ventilation ducts and air condition systems with the target to compartmentalize the sectors of the fire in any building in accordance with nowadays required standards.
Description

Application
· The fire dampers are used for the automatic closure of ventilation ducts and air condition systems with the target to compartmentalize the sectors of the fire in any building in accordance with nowadays required standards.

Technical specs
· The fire damper consists in one double plasterboard plate case (30mm thickness) fire proof and armed with corners and fronts made of galvanized folded steel sheet providing a robustness and compatibility with the constructive elements which it has to be placed.
· The closing gate located inside is built in triple plasterboard fire-resistant layer (45mm thickness), provided in the perimeter of the whole an intumescent join with special characteristics that when it is heated its thickness increases considerably, achieving a perfect sealing for both fire and smoke, which it is also helped by a perimeter join built with the same materials forming a labyrinthine closure.

Operation
· The automatic locking is guaranteed by the action of a great powered maul and a fuse set to 72º.
· In addition, accessories can be added to the mechanism plate allowing its automatic closure from a remote control via electromagnetic actuators (see accessories section) and electric servomotor at 24 V.c.c. or 220 V.c.a. or pneumatic actuator.
· In all cases the reset is done manually, except for cases where the reset can be executed automatically from a remote way for the electric servomotor or pneumatic actuator.

Drivers and accessories
A complete range of drivers and accessories allows any possibility of control such as:

  1. Solenoid driving, usually deenergized (it acts when a 24 V.c.c. or 220V.c.a. current reaches the driver).
  2. Electromagnetic driving, usually energized (it acts when a 24 V.c.c. or 220V.c.a. current does not reach the driver).
  3. Switches end of track.
  4. Pneumatic driving.
  5. Driving through an electric motor which incorporates a device for remote signaling (it acts when there is a lack of electric current, 24 V.c.c. or 220V.c.a.). It enables the automatic reset.
